“Our dream to end the Russian occupation in our country by the unconditional love to our homeland, effective domestic and foreign policy, development of defense capacities, cooperation with the strategic partners and enhancement of democracy will come true”, – the Speaker, Archil Talakvadze stated in his speech at the Closing Ceremony of the Multinational Exercise “Noble Partner”.
It is the greatest honor to be respected as a “noble partner” and on equal levels stand by the soldiers of the free and developed countries.
“You create the modern model of the successful cavalry history”, – he addressed the attendees.
According to him, by the multinational exercises and constant commitment, Georgia protects the peace, improves interoperability and maintains the secure environment in the region. “The participants of the “Noble Partner” share the common interests and values. This is the program serving as yet another important support by our Western partners towards the peaceful, strong and free Georgia; every such exercise improves the capacities of our defense forces”, – he noted adding that the participants of the “Noble Partner” are unified by the shared duty to protect the homeland and common values.
“We are all proud of the devoted service of our soldiers in the international missions, where the noble sons of our countries in the most volatile areas of the world protect global peace and security. The defense forces of Georgia are the reliable pillars of the country on the EU and NATO integration path. Georgia meets all the key requirements and we are strategically committed to access NATO”, – he stated.
In his speech, the Speaker stated that the fair and transparent Parliamentary Elections 2020 will once again clarify and prove that Georgia is loyal to the democratic values and deserves the full-fledged membership of the EU and NATO.
He dwelt on the scheduled works and underlined the restoration of the pandemic-affected economy, creation of new job opportunities and improvement of the welfare of the population, which is the aspiration of the ruling team.
“By adhering to the security, enhancement of democracy and development of the economy, we create a better future for our country and our children. It is not a simple mission but is feasible and we will do it together. I express my gratitude to our main strategic partner – USA and the friend countries for supporting the improvement of the defense capacities of Georgia”, – he stated.
