Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held a working meeting with Thea Tsulukiani, newly appointed Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia whose tenure started officially today. The meeting focused on the staffing and structuration of the new Ministry, alongside with key directions pertaining to culture, sports, and youth affairs. The conversation at the Government Administration also encompassed steps to be taken by Georgia to make an official application for EU membership in 2024. The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs must hold an honorable place in this process, the parties underlined. On March 19, the Head of Government signed a decree appointing Thea Tsulukiani as Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
